(ADPnews) - Aug 31, 2009 - Italian leather goods producer Antichi Pellettieri SpA (BIT:AP) booked a consolidated net loss of EUR 29 million (USD 41.4m) in the first half of 2009, compared with a EUR 6.4 million net profit in the year-ago period.
The consolidated turnover fell to EUR 158.3 million from EUR 169 million.
The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) dropped to EUR 2.9 million from EUR 23.3 million. The group registered an operating loss of EUR 45.5 million against a EUR 19.2 million profit.
The net financial debt widened to EUR 135.1 million at end-June 2009 from EUR 84.5 million at end-March 2009.
