Article: Copec, Enap may resume frozen 125 MW project - report.

(ADPnews) - Sep 2, 2009 - Chile's state-owned oil company Enap and local fuel distributor Compania de Petroleos de Chile (Copec) may resume a 125 MW power project that was frozen in 2008, local daily Diario Financiero reported yesterday.

The project is for the construction of a gas-fired cogeneration plant to supply steam and electricity to Enap's Aconcagua refinery.

The project will become more competitive, as the price of Chile's liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports is expected to decrease in two years, sources ...
