(ADPnews) - Sep 1, 2009 - Finnish sports equipment maker Amer Sports Oyj (HEL:AMEAS) said today it may divest its cycling business Mavic and warned that it sees the consensus forecast for its operating profit for the whole 2009 as too optimistic.
The divestment of Mavic is part of Amer's strategy to streamline its portfolio and focus towards activities where the company believes it has the best long-term opportunities and where it can achieve the best group-wide synergies.
