Kansas State University and the University of Kansas, along with two Oklahoma universities, will benefit from a $6 million cyber infrastructure grant.
The grant was awarded by the National Science Foundation to develop an infrastructure for ecological forecasting and education efforts that will connect KSU, KU, Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma.
Walter Dodds, university distinguished professor in the division of biology for KSU, and Daniel Andresen, associate professor of computing and information science for KSU, will be leading KSU's part of the project.
