With families now home and settled from summer vacations and activities, the Hamilton Recycle Committee has gone into full swing recruiting households to its organic waste recycle program. The committee s determination to go forward with this program, which would be the first in the state, came from the success of last winter s pilot program, and the enthusiasm of its participants. The committee decided to extend the opportunity to all families who might want to have their kitchen waste picked up separately. This would include left-over meals, coffee grounds, meat, bones, vegetables, used paper towels, etc., which would go out separately with the trash on trash day, ...
