MUSCAT Eoe1/4" The International Labour Organisation (ILO) commended developments of labour legislations in the Sultanate and considered them path-breaking.
Dr Khoula Mattar from ILO said that the organisation was appreciative of the efforts made by the Sultanate in general and its Manpower Ministry in particular for steps initiated at the level of inspection for settling labour disputes besides dialogue between production parties.
She also affirmed that the Sultanate was a good role model for the Arab world, in this regard.
