I'm no builder. I'm no contractor. I can't tell you for sure what a business needs when it goes looking for a location. I'm the last guy you'd want to ask about floor space or square feet.
With all that said, let me share my response to the news that National Government Services is moving 450 jobs out of downtown because it could not find adequate space in the city:
Owwwoooooo.
I spent Tuesday talking with many of the principals who took part in trying to keep NGS downtown. The negotiations failed. The 450 employees who process Medicare claims will be leaving. Right now, they work in the old ...
