(TSX:NPC) announced today that the intellectual property underlying its activity-dependent neurotrophic factor (ADNF) technology platform has been strengthened by the issuance of a Canadian patent covering the chemical composition of the Company's preclinical-stage peptide AL-209 and its use in protecting against Alzheimer's disease and other degenerative diseases.
