Brian Mulligan has joined Deutsche Bank as a managing director and vice chairman in its media and telecommunications investment banking group. He is based in Los Angeles and reports to David Pearson, head of Americas media and telecom investment banking, and Jacques Brand, co-head of global industry coverage. Mulligan was previously chairman of Brooknol Advisors, a media and entertainment boutique.
He was also a senior executive advisor at Cerberus Capital Management, chairman of Fox Television and co-chairman of Universal Pictures. Other stints include Boston Consulting and MCA Inc.
