iLinc, a leading provider of web and video conferencing software and services, announced that it has received a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for its iLinc Green Meter™. The patent includes the application, algorithms and processes embedded within the core iLinc technology that tracks the dollars saved and greenhouse emissions avoided when customers use iLinc web conferencing for meetings, events and training sessions rather than traveling by car, train or airplane (see also iLinc Communications, Inc.).
