Thanks in part to a contribution from Dermazone Solutions, Inc. in St. Petersburg, the University of South Florida has launched a chapter of the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Foundation (see also Dermazone Solutions, Inc.).
The creation of the Tampa Bay chapter, announced, adds Tampa to a list of 14 ARCS chapters around the country, in such cities as Atlanta, Los Angeles, Denver and San Francisco.
Efforts to establish the chapter, which will provide scholarships to attract top graduate students to USF's College of Marine Science and Cancer Biology, began 18 months ago when USF President Judy Genshaft made the first contribution. Her ...
