YONKERS, N.Y., July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Viral Research Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: ADVR) today announced that its lead immunomodulator drug, Reticulose, has been approved for human clinical trial in Mexico. The double blind placebo controlled study will evaluate the effectiveness of Reticulose in combination with three "cocktail type" AIDS drugs for treatment of adults infected with HIV.
As part of the protocol for the multi-center study, all patients will receive an identical combination of AIDS drugs including a protease inhibitor. Patients in the Reticulose arm of the study will receive the combination therapy plus Reticulose. Reticulose, a ...
