Artio Global Investors Inc. (the "Company") announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 25,000,000 shares of its Class A common stock at $26.00 per share. The shares will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on September 24, 2009 under the ticker symbol "ART". The underwriters have the option to purchase from the Company up to an additional 3,750,000 shares of Class A common stock, on the same terms and conditions.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repurchase 22,600,000 shares of Class C common stock from Julius Baer Holding Ltd. - equivalent to approximately 54% of Julius Baer Holding Ltd.'s total stake (or ...
