Steve Carnevale, chief financial officer for 3D software company Geomagic, has received a 2009 Movers and Shakers award from Business Leader magazine. The annual award recognizes up-and-coming business leaders in the greater Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill region of North Carolina (see also Geomagic).
Since joining Geomagic as CFO in January 2008, Carnevale has played a central role in several important initiatives within the company. He provided support for the plan that led to Geomagic securing $8 million in funding from Valhalla Partners last year, and he has vastly improved processes for better financial control, reporting and business intelligence. ...
