More than 150 participants joined in the second stop on the GLOBALGAP TOUR 2009 in Montevideo last week. The TOUR 2009 will visit five continents between now and November as part of its outreach and consultation to key stakeholders in the run-up to its new version of guidelines, to be published in 2011 (see also Globalgap).
Leaders from the livestock, produce and floral commodity sectors in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and U.S. participated in meetings on how to implement GLOBALGAP in their regions.
