LaBarge, Inc. (NYSE Amex: LB) has been awarded a $1.9 million contract from Raytheon Missile Systems to continue to provide complex cable harnesses for the JSOW (Joint Standoff Weapon) system.
The JSOW program is a family of affordable, air-to-ground weapons that employ global positioning satellite information to guide the weapons to the target. More than 400 JSOWs have been used in combat operations, including more than 300 in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The JSOW family uses a common and modular weapon body capable of carrying various payloads.
