The New York Television Festival (NYTVF) and ION Television announce their partnership on a newly created screenplay writing competition monikered "Act I: The ION Television Movie Contest". This competition, which launches immediately and runs through November 30, offers drama screenwriters the opportunity to win a coveted development deal with the network. The announcement was jointly made by Leslie Chesloff, EVP, Programming, ION Media Networks and Terence Gray, NYTVF Founder.
