USG Corporation (NYSE: USG), a leading building products company, has announced the election of William H. Hernandez, Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of PPG Industries, Inc., to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Hernandez joined PPG as controller in 1990, and was named Vice President and Controller in 1994. He was elected to his current position in 1995. Mr. Hernandez was recently recognized by Institutional Investor Magazine as one of "America's Best CFOs." Prior to joining PPG, Mr. Hernandez held group and corporate management positions during his 16 years with BorgWarner Corporation.
