When you consider the first rule of photography is to hold your camera still, it is astonishing that anybody manages to take pictures from a plane flying at 100 miles per hour.

"It's like looking down a drainpipe and trying to hold it still in a gale," says Jonathan Webb, an aerial photographer who has published a book called Birmingham From The Air which includes more than 120 pictures of the city all taken from small aircraft, twin engined planes and helicopters.
