India's largest pvt sector firm offers 1: 1bonus &130% dividend
MUKESH Ambanirun Reliance Industries Ltd ( RIL) on Wednesday announced it will issue bonus shares in the ratio of one share for every share held in the firm.
The bonus bonanza came as a pleasant surprise for shareholders 12 years after the last such issue of free shares by the company in 1997.
The board of directors of the company also proposed an interim dividend of Rs 13 per share for the financial year 2008- 09, RIL chief financial officer Alok Agarwal told journalists after the board meeting. This will result in a payment of Rs 2,219 crore inclusive of taxes to the tune of Rs ...
