JAPAN'S MEGMILK SNOW BRAND TO MERGE WITH 2 GROUP FIRMS

TOKYO - Megmilk Snow Brand Co. (TSE:2270) on Thursday announced plans to merge with two firms in its group, Snow Brand Milk Products Co. and Nippon Milk Community Co., by 2012.

The merger, revealed in a five-year business plan, is aimed at solidifying their domestic businesses and at making a more concerted effort overseas.
