Alfa Romeo's plans for a full-fledged return to the United States remain up in the air.
Alfa has distributed a handful of 8C Competizione coupes this year through certain Maserati dealers. But the Fiat S.p.A.-owned brand won't decide on a complete model lineup for the United States until Chrysler Group determines its own product strategy. Fiat has a 20 percent stake in Chrysler.
Alfa left the United States in 1995, its reputation shattered by poor quality. The comeback was announced in 2000 but has been delayed several times.
