The sport of tennis is growing again, prompting the Schwartz family to pour money into their Midtown Tennis Club chain. But this time, the focus is on more than just tennis.
TCA Holdings LLC, the Chicago-based parent of Midtown Tennis, plans a $15-million expansion and makeover of its flagship club at Elston and Fullerton avenues next year, adding a four-story tower with an indoor swimming pool and exercise facilities alongside 18 tennis courts.
