PAJU, South Korea, Oct. 10 (Yonhap) -- A civic group in South Korea delayed an event scheduled for Saturday to send radios and propaganda leaflets by balloon to North Korea due to unfavorable wind conditions. The Fighters for Free North Korea (FFNK), consisting of activists and former North Korean defectors, has long been involved in sending anti-Pyongyang propaganda attached to balloons from along the inter-Korean border. North Korean currency is also sometimes attached to the leaflets in order to induce people to pick them up. Saturday marked the 64th founding anniversary of the North's ruling Workers' Party.
