Oct 11, 2009 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Shares in Syrah Resources surged by 56 per cent to $A0.125 on 9 October 2009, giving it a capitalisation of $A3.75m. The spike came after the junior explorer lodged applications for a number of exploration licences in Saudi Arabia, a country whose mineral resources are largely untapped.
