Dolores Hines thought she was done raising children after her five became adults and moved out.
But the Bide-A-Wee Manor resident inadvertently became a mom again at age 66.
That's when she took in her grandson Jeffrey, now 17, and became his primary guardian.
Seven years later, in 2003, she became the legal guardian of Jeffrey's six siblings after their mother was unable to raise them because of a medical condition.
The retired nursing assistant, now 79, found herself in a familiar and yet strangely different parenting role.
