What's the cure for hiccups? Many believe it's a sudden surprise.
Old Dominion got just that when Presbyterian College held the Monarchs scoreless in the first quarter and led 3-0 early in the second.
At that point, ODU quarterback Thomas DeMarco cleared his throat, composed the troops, and the Monarchs marched to a 34-16 victory over the winless Blue Hose, with DeMarco doing most of the marching.
