MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NiSource Inc. today announced that Jon D. Veurink will join the company on Oct. 13, 2009, as a vice president in NiSource's Finance Department.

Following a transition period, Veurink will succeed NiSource Vice President and Controller Jeffrey W.
