The Santa Fe High School Demons of Friday night did what no other football team in New Mexico had been able to do so far this season.
They kept Albuquerque
La Cueva Bears superstar running back Ronnie Daniels out of the end zone.
Of course that had more to do with La Cueva head coach Fred Romero's pregame decision to rest his star junior, who is averaging more than 200 rushing yards and three touchdowns a game this season, than it did with the Santa Fe defense.
