The scruffy stray was a well-known fixture in the tight-knit community along Tesuque valley. Through the years, the dog's name would change as he grew older, but he was mostly known as "The Tesuque Traveler" for his habit of accompanying hikers on their walks or running along the narrow confines of Bishops Lodge Road.
