Filipino authorities say the San Roque Dam break story a hoax.
The Philippine Star reported Sunday that local officials, including Gov. Amado Espino, stated that the dam is still intact and the reports circulating through text messages were false, stating during an interview, That's not true. We've been announcing that it isn't true.
