Trinity English Lutheran Church will celebrate the completion of its $5.5 million, 10,900 square-foot addition and renovation with its Seeds of Faith fest Oct. 10-11.
The improvements reflect feedback gathered from the congregation and a review conducted by a house committee, which interviewed staff members and groups that use the building.
The new gathering space includes a redesigned Washington Boulevard entrance, meeting spaces, restrooms, an enlarged elevator, outdoor activity area and a covered entry. Technology improvements included the use of geothermal and solar energy and the installation of more efficient mechanical systems.
