Glencore International AG (GNC.YY), a privately held, diversified natural resources company, said Wednesday it has, through a subsidiary, agreed to sell 98.79 million common shares of Katanga Mining Ltd. (KATFF), 5.2% of the outstanding Katanga common shares, to Breton Global Ltd. for $0.35 per share, making a total of $34.58 million. MAIN FACTS:

-The sale of the Katanga shares is expected to close by Oct. 13.
