The Massachusetts School Building Authority will likely lean toward renovating the city s two high schools if the SBA agrees to recommend that Pittsfield receive reimbursement from the state for that project.
State Sen. Benjamin B. Downing, and state Rep. Christopher N. Speranzo both made that prediction this week in separate interviews with The Eagle. The Pittsfield Democrats also lobbied the SBA to approve Pittsfield for a feasibility study, which is the first step toward securing financial support for some type of high school building project.
