Warren Pumps will likely receive $1.5 million to develop an advanced fuel filtration system for Navy warships. The program means Warren Pumps, a unit of Colfax Corp. based in Richmond, Va., will add five or six engineers and designers to the staff of about 100 it already has in Warren, said Roland R. Doktor, manager of new programs and Navy sales for Warren Pumps.

"The pump and the pump control will all be designed here in Warren," Doktor said. "If the program goes forward as we hope it will, there will be hardware built here as well."
