LISTED ABACUS Consolidated Resources & Holdings, Inc. will submit an unsolicited proposal to state-owned Philippine National Oil Co.-Exploration Corp. (PNOC-EC) for the construction of the Batangas-to-Manila (Batman I) Natural Gas Pipeline Project.

In a disclosure to the stock exchange, Abacus said its board of directors had given the green light for the company to submit the unsolicited proposal to PNOC-EC, the listed upstream oil and gas subsidiary of state-owned PNOC.

The Batman I project covers 100 kilometers and will serve as a gateway for natural gas users in Metro Manila. The supply will come from the Malampaya gas field off Palawan, the largest ...
