New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Acting Commissioner Stanley Gee today announced the release of NYSDOT's proposed five-year transportation capital program pursuant to Chapter 25 of the Laws of 2009. The proposed Capital Program recommends a $25.8 billion infrastructure investment over the next five years in state and local highways and bridges, intercity passenger and freight rail, suburban and upstate transit, ports and airports. In addition, the submittal recommends objectives and performance measures to determine the State's investment in transportation.
