The Parsons City Council approved bids Monday night on two upcoming construction projects.
Joseph Fisher, Dale Reynolds, Harold Fisher, Dwight Lancaster, Bobby Rainey and Joe Don White were present for the meeting. Mark Davis was absent.
Mayor Tim David Boaz began the meeting by opening two sealed bids received Friday for paving projects. The majority of the paving will be in the Bledsoe Subdivision area. Boaz said the construction on the sewer system in the area will likely result in a need for road repairs.
Boaz said because the Bledsoe project bids came in well under original estimates there will be funds leftover to pay for paving. The ...
