SYDNEY, Oct 13 Asia Pulse - APN News & Media Ltd (ASX:APN) has confirmed that its earnings for calendar 2009 are likely to be in with the consensus forecast of leading media analysts.

"Overall trading continues to show improvements, especially in publishing and outdoor," chief executive Brendan Hopkins said on Tuesday in a statement.

"And although, as should be expected, some weeks remain inconsistent, we are pleased to see overall quarter four trading returning to normal trends."
