PARSIPPANY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 1998--DRS Technologies, Inc. (ASE: DRS) announced today that it has been awarded a contract with a maximum value of $4.1 million from EDO Corporation's Combat Systems unit in Chesapeake, Virginia to provide AN/SPS-67(V)3 radar systems, engineering services and training support for surface ships in the Royal Norwegian Coast Guard fleet. Work for this contract will be performed by the company's DRS Electronic Systems, Inc. unit in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
