Sally Beauty Holdings, a portfolio company of buyout firm Clayton Dubilier & Rice, expanded deeper into the Northeast with its $61 million acquisition of Schoeneman Beauty Supply.
Beauty Systems Group, a subsidiary of Denton, Texas' Sally Beauty, carried out the purchase of Pottsville, Pa.'s Schoeneman. It will pick up 43 supply stores, selling mid-priced and high-end beauty products, and more than 500 employees spread between Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and West Virginia.
