Bennett, Winslow Wood 1925 - 2009 Winslow Bennett passed away peacefully at home in Vancouver, B.C. recently, surrounded by his family. Winslow gracefully endured ALS over the past year. Winslow is survived by: Betsy, his wife of 57 years; his four sons, Wood, Peter, Frank and Russell; his daughters-in-law, Chantal, Stephanie and Heidi; his 13 grandchildren; his sisters, Mimi (Don) and Helen (Wayne), and his brothers, Fletcher (Elinor) and Noel (Sue). Born in Minneapolis, MN, Winslow grew up on a ranch near Waterton, Alberta. He graduated from Phillips Academy, Andover, MA in 1943 and served as an Ensign in the US Navy from 1943-46.
