NEW YORK -- DuPont will be giving Lycra spandex the Hollywood treatment this fall.
The fibers giant is shaking off its corporate reserve with a consumer campaign for Lycra called "The Elements of Style." The showbiz connection is Phillip Bloch, one of the entertainment industry's leading stylists to the stars, who will serve as a spokesman in a variety of media formats and in-store promotions.
Bloch, whose celebrity clients include Sandra Bullock, Salma Hayek, Cameron Diaz, Fran Drescher, John Travolta, Meg Ryan and Cindy Crawford, will follow other high-profile spokespersons for Lycra, Lauren Hutton and Cheryl Ladd. Bloch's book on celebrity style, entitled, "Elements of ...
