Here's a chance to make a little change in tough times: Drop a dime on the criminal known as the "River Rat" bank robber and get a reward of $15,000.
The Rat is believed to have robbed at least eight banks and seven check-cashing or payday loan stores. Most of his crimes have been on either side of the Columbia River in the Portland area.
But he may have moved north on Friday when an armed man walked into the NW Commercial Bank, 4220 A. St. S.E., Suite 109 in Auburn and ordered everyone to the ground. He demanded cash, got it and left on foot.
