Article: Grumpy old man.(ReaderMail)

I guess I have become an "old guy" at 45. What I mean is I have reached the point where everything "costs more than it should" and things "come too easy and go too fast." You know, real grandpa stuff.

What I do not chalk up to my "old guy" status is my view of today's sporting magazines, BOWHUNTING included. My brother gave me a subscription as a kind gesture. He knows I hunt a lot. I live in some of the best whitetail country in the Midwest and spend many hours on a bow stand.

Why is it I can spend hours sitting quietly in a bow stand and be perfectly content, but it is all I can do to get through an issue of BOWHUNTING?
