SHANGHAI: The International Monetary Fund could soon appoint a vice president from state-run Bank of China to a senior position at Beijing s suggestion, local media reported Tuesday.
Zhu Min -- who would first take up a position at the PeopleEoe1/4aos Bank of China, the central bank -- would be the first Chinese national to hold a major post within the Washington-based fund, the 21st Century Business Herald said.
