TEMPE, Ariz., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- PCT International, a leading worldwide manufacturer of last mile and access network solutions for broadband communications networks, announced today that is has developed a mini- fiber node that combines the advantages of an internal coupler and the company's Burst Mode technology.
The new PCT-BPFN products, which build on the growing adoption of Burst Mode technology over the past year, split wavelengths internally to reduce the amount of fiber needed in RFOG and FTTx deployments. At the same time, they continue to provide the low-noise, highly-responsive performance that Burst Mode enables.
