SAMMY Yu has revealed that Blues' new owners were not expecting to see "sexy football" just yet.
Yu revealed that he and Carson Yeung understood Alex McLeish's desire was to make Blues more pleasing on the eye and entertaining, but he would need resources, different personnel and some patience.
McLeish has been changing Blues' style to more pass and possession-orientated, but having just come up from the Championship and straight into a scrap to avoid relegation, he has been pragmatic too.
