Cox reorg: At Cox Media Group of Atlanta, which last week reorganized itself around geographic groupings rather than by discrete media, Doug Franklin and Bob Neil have been named executive vice presidents. Previously, Franklin had been executive vice president of Cox Newspapers, a unit that was abolished in the reorganization, a job he'd held since December. Earlier, the lifelong Cox employee had been publisher of the company's papers in Atlanta, Palm Beach, Fla., and Dayton, Ohio.
