S&P lowers and withdraws RusHydro Gov Scores at company's request

MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Standard & Poor's Governance Services has lowered its corporate governance scores (CGS) to 'CGS-5' from 'CGS-5+' global scale and to 'CGS-5.3' from 'CGS-5.7' Russia national scale and then immediately withdrew the scores on RusHydro (OJSC) (RTS: HYDR), the largest Russian generation company which operates hydropower plants and other renewable energy generation facilities, the agency said in a press release.

The scores were withdrawn at the company's request.

The lowering of the scores reflects concerns related to weaknesses in control procedures ...
